About us

DHW PRO s.r.o. > About us

The operations of a mid-sized transportation and forwarding company in the Czech Republic began in 1995. Over the course of twenty years, DHW Pro s.r.o. has become one of the most prestigious and reliable partners in the region’s transportation and logistics sector. Today, we employ more than 70 workers, whose selection is given the utmost attention by the company’s management. We meet our customers’ transportation needs throughout the European region with our own fleet and vehicles of contracted carriers. All vehicles comply with EURO V and EURO VI environmental standards.

Vision

The transportation company was founded with the following goals:

  • To operate 50 trucks by the year 2000.
  • To build a logistics facility with 10,000 m² of storage space, a truck service center, and a fuel station by 2010.
  • To provide high-quality 3PL services by 2020.

Strategy

Our strategy consists of three phases:

  1. The initial phase focuses on fleet units primarily for the automotive industry, specializing in high-volume transport.
  2. The second phase involves diversifying our services, including transportation, logistics for manufacturing plants, and forwarding within the Plzeň region.
  3. The third phase aims to integrate into an international network by providing 3PL services.

Future Goals

Our primary objective is to become part of a large international logistics network. We are actively seeking partners to support the realization of the third phase of our strategy. We aim to offer cooperation and attract potential investors for the completion of a 3PL logistics center in the Czech Republic for prospective clients.

2020 ...

Present

Currently, we operate 65 fleet units. At this stage, we continue to focus on providing services for the automotive industry. Our customer base has been diversified to include original equipment manufacturers, forwarding services, one-time transports, and other industries.

2016 – 2020

Past Achievements

The first phase of our project was completed at 50%. By 2000, we operated 25 fleet units. A minor global economic downturn in 1998–1999 caused us to adjust our plans, and we reached the target number of vehicles only in 2007.

The second phase of our plan was disrupted by the global financial crisis in 2008. Although land and plans for building the logistics facility were prepared, the project was halted and has yet to be completed. The construction of the logistics center has been postponed.
